Abstract
In our introductory chapter, we have defined a grammar to be a set of domino pieces, and we have not been too precise about dominos. In the present chapter, we are more rigorous and define a grammar and a language in a less graphical way — exit dominos. The definitions and notations that we will be using are more conventional and convenient than domino drawings are.
