Abstract

Nurses of the late 20th century face many challenges as they diagnose and treat human responses. Some of these challenges arise from the complexities of life and disease processes which confront humans. Other challenges arise from the psychological, temporal, geographical, or physical barriers to reaching and intervening with persons in need. The purpose of this project was to determine the feasibility of using commonly available computer technology to circumvent barriers to the delivery of nursing care, and to deliver services in a timely and convenient manner.
