Abstract
If you are experiencing headaches painful enough to interfere significantly with your lifestyle and have not yet obtained a diagnosis, then you need to consult a physician right away. For a person suffering severe headaches, an accurate diagnosis is medically essential. The possibility that your headaches might be caused by a life-threatening condition, such as a brain tumor or a stroke, although extremely small, should never be dismissed out of hand. Sometimes headaches are only symptoms of underlying medical conditions—such as high blood pressure, thyroid imbalance, or eye disease—all of which can certainly benefit from proper treatment.
