Abstract
Traditionally posterior leaflet mitral repairs have been done with large leaflet resections. Recently, more conservative resections have been found to be just as effective and durable. Limited triangular resections, folding-plasties, and artificial chord implantation are particularly amenable to robotic mitral repair. These techniques are described in this chapter.
