Abstract

Congenital and acquired nonneoplastic retroperitoneal disorders consist of abdominal aortic aneurysm, thrombus of the inferior vena cava, psoas abscess, retroperitoneal fibrosis, pancreatic pseudocyst, lymphocele, urinoma, bronchogenic cyst, Müllerian cyst, epidermoid cyst, tailgut cyst, Castleman’s disease, fetus in fetu, duplication cyst, retroperitoneal hemorrhage, amyloidosis, extramedullary hematopoiesis, retroperitoneal varices, Erdheim-Chester disease, fat necrosis, and retroperitoneal air. In this chapter imaging findings and pathological features of nonneoplastic retroperitoneal disorders are described.
