Abstract
Orthopedic emergencies are relatively common and can be associated with a potentially limb- or even life-threatening clinical situation. Patients usually present in distress (often after a sudden event, for example, fall, car accident) and sometimes in chaotic circumstances of the emergency department, making examination and clinical management challenging.
