Abstract
If you are undertaking a research project, you should be clear with yourself, your supervisors, and your prospective employers as to your aims. Those aims may change for good reason, but you must begin with a specific objective in mind. It is sensible that within these considerations you will come to a decision about which research degree you wish to register for.
