Managing Sleep Problems Among Cardiac Patients

  • Chapter
Stress Proof the Heart

Abstract

Sleep problems are common among cardiac patients, and treating them is important to both risk reduction and quality of life. This chapter will review the evidence supporting this statement and educate the cardiac frontline health-care provider (physician, psychologist, nurse) about how to manage these problems.
