Abstract
RAC is a clustered database solution that provides two major functions, namely, scalability and availability for business continuity. We discussed testing the hardware and application for availability in Chapter 3. In this chapter,we focus on testing for scalability.

The Ethernet packet consists of a 1,500-byte payload + 14 bytes for header + virtual local area networks (VLAN) tag 4 bytes + cyclic redundancy check (CRC) 4 bytes.
