Abstract

Whether you’re developing your themes for your clients or creating them to sell or distribute as standalone themes, adding theme options and customizations is worth considering. Adding customizable options to your themes can enable your users to make your theme feel like their own, adding their own unique touches to a theme that may be downloaded hundreds of times. And giving clients customization options allows them to make simple tweaks without having to come to you for support, saving you time and giving them a sense of ownership of their own site.
