Abstract
In this final chapter of the book, I want to talk about a topic that is not directly related to WordPress themes, but is certainly something that you'll come across when working with WordPress: WordPress Multisite. Multisite is a feature of WordPress that allows you to set up multiple sites, managed and maintained from a single install of WordPress. Perhaps it sounds slightly crazy, but before you dismiss it, you should be aware that Multisite is a very powerful tool when used in the right circumstances. The best example of a well-known instance of WordPress Multisite is WordPress.com itself. This network of sites is run and maintained via a single install of WordPress running Multisite-of course this does entail a complex set up of servers and databases in order to run the network.
