Abstract
Chapter 12 introduced you to some of the areas any PC-BSD user can explore to contribute to the PCBSD community. This chapter covers more advanced forms of contribution that typically require programming skills. If you are a programmer, taking programming in school and looking for opportunities to practice your skills, or if you are interested in learning more about how the PC-BSD operating system and push button installer applications (PBIs) are developed, this chapter is for you.
