Abstract

This chapter will go over the classes available in .NET that deal with cryptography. I’ll cover how the classes are designed and some general rules to follow when using them. Then I’ll break the discussion into different aspects of cryptography, such as hashes, keys, and certificates. Finally, I’ll show you a sample application that performs encryption on object serialization streams.
