Abstract
Throughout this Book, you’ve seen how to write JavaServer Pages (JSP) pages, use custom tags, and access relational databases. When putting a certain structure in place for a JSP application, you can use existing frameworks that provide a foundation for you to build your applications. Good frameworks encapsulate best practices in Web application architecture and also implement a lot of common functionality that would otherwise have to be reimplemented for each and every Web application.
