Abstract

There can be little doubt that XML is one of the most important web technologies to come along in the past several years. It has rapidly become the industry standard for data-transfer, interoperability, and storage solutions. The.NET Framework provides robust and integrated support for XML in two main areas: document manipulation and web services. XML includes classes for reading and writing XML data, creating XML documents, and consuming XML web service information. You can use these classes to easily integrate XML functionality into your ASP.NET applications.
