Abstract

In this chapter, we show you the fundamentals of an ASP.NET program inside a web page. We explain the underlying principles of creating an ASP.NET application and make sure you understand how to integrate ASP.NET applications into Dreamweaver MX web pages. We focus only on Visual Basic.NET for our programming because it is the easiest way to show some of the coding principles you need. We explain ASP.NET features by creating ASP.NET pages from scratch, and we finish by showing ASP.NET-specific features of Dreamweaver MX.
