Abstract

Flex framework gives developers the ability to create complex application and user interaction using containers and controls to reduce programming complexity. Flex applications and web applications can be made up of many objects that users can interact with and use to navigate through applications. The difference between a Flex application and a web application is that the former uses a one-page approach, while the latter uses a multipage approach (except for a web application developed with technologies such as Ajax, Lazlo, and SilverLight). It means that the user moves within the same page and can choose where to go. It’s obvious that in this scenario it is very important to provide a good navigation system in Flex.
