Creating VoiceXML Applications

  • Chapter
Pro Microsoft Speech Server 2007

Abstract

New to OCS 2007 Speech Server is support for VoiceXML applications. VoiceXML is a markup language that extends HTML and XHTML. Unlike SALT, VoiceXML doesn’t need to use JavaScript. Whereas SALT relies heavily on JavaScript to make any decisions programmatically, VoiceXML allows you to do simple conditional statements directly without calling any JavaScript.
