Abstract

Practical decisions are decisions as to what to do. Because action occurs in a particular situation, the practical problem of deciding what to do is always a particular decision. Even when the decision concerns a series of events, and is a decision of policy, still the object of the decision is something particular. It is a conclusion as to what to do in this moment or in this series of moments.
