Abstract

This study provides an in-depth analysis of solo terrorist Anders Behring Breivik, with focus on the target selection process and related operational aspects. In this chapter the authors explain in greater detail the objectives of this study, the need for more research in the area and the unique source material that made this project possible. There are also important ethical aspects related to studies such as this, which is addressed in this chapter.
