In the preceding Chapters the exposition was focused on the security objectives of the service providers. As motivated in Chap. 4, such safeguards are also in the interest of the service users. In particular, the users can benefit from the reliability of secure services. In the following, the perspective is extended to also comprise the user requirements for personal data protection, particularly pseudonymity, serving the right to informational self-determination.
