Abstract
While the classical right ring of quotients Q cl r(R) exists (if and) only if R is a right Ore ring, a maximal right ring of quotients Qmaxr(R) exists for any ring R. To define Q max r (R), one must first understand the structure of the endomorphism ring of a QI (quasi-injective) module.
