Abstract
A discussion of Hungary’s choice of Comenius Logo© also provides the framework for clarifying the role of computers in education. Methods for getting acquainted with Comenius Logo’s programming environment and designing educational microworlds are examined. The benefits of Logo as a means of introducing computers to children and the use of Logo as a means of preparing teachers for their mission of achieving enhanced computer use in schools provide issues for developing countries to discuss.
