Abstract
Speaking in the medical vernacular is important to effectively and succinctly communicate with your colleagues. This subject will be discussed in subsequent chapters. In the current chapter, the focus is on the methods that others can use to contact or communicate with you via overhead pages, pagers, cell phones, two-way radios, home telephones, and e-mails.
What we have here is a failure to communicate. —From the film Cool Hand Luke
