Genetics and Genomics of Brachypodium

Part of the book series: Plant Genetics and Genomics: Crops and Models ((PGG,volume 18))

Abstract

Library resources are essential tools for functional genomics studies in model species. In this chapter, we summarize the library resources available for Brachypodium, including libraries of bacterial artificial chromosomes (BACs), cDNAs, and yeast two-hybrid (Y2H) data. These resources enable the Brachypodium research community to explore useful genes and elucidate gene function involved in the biological properties of grasses.
