Abstract

Engineering drawings' recognition is a processing to interpret an image of line drawings into vector format appropriate for computer-aided draughting system. This paper proposes a new method which is based on Frame Structure Theory. At first, Frame structure is defined, and then, Frame Structure Theory is introduced. Finally, method of recognition of engineering drawings based on Frame Structure Theory is also described. The result of recognition is seems as a contribution to the solution of the problem of engineering drawings' recognition.
