Abstract

This paper introduces and compares two very popular Object-Oriented Methods, the Shlaer/Mellor Method and the OMT-Method (Rumbaugh et al). Although being very similar at a first glance, a deeper look reveals differences, especially in the approach to design, which should be taken into account when choosing one or the other method for a Project. Both Methods are suitable to support Ada Projects.
