Abstract

Development processes are executed with the help of resources such as managers, developers, and a variety of development tools. The term resource refers to any entity which performs or assists in the performance of some process step. This includes both human and computer resources. A resource management system supports the representation of resources, the assignment of resources to process steps, and the utilization of resources for process performance.
