Abstract

In this thesis we gave convincing arguments that quality-driven query answering in integrated information systems is both useful and feasible. After a summary of the main contributions of this work, we suggest further applications for IQ-reasoning, and conclude with an appeal for the pervasion of IQ-reasoning in modern integrated information systems.
