Summary
Genetic Algorithm is used to solve the sizing optimization of structure. First of all, the mathematical model of the problem is developed by Statically Determinate Supposition. Then, the genetic algorithm is used to solve the mathematical model. Because only one time structure analysis is needed, the total times of structure analysis is decreased. An efficient method is given for using genetic algorithm to solve structural optimization.
