Abstract

In terms of the concurrent programming framework discussed in chapter 1, Ada exhibits the following properties:

  • • explicit task declaration,

  • • dynamic process structure,

  • • no parameter passing facility at task creation time,

  • • remote invocation message passing with asymmetric direct naming, and

  • • shared variable communication under restricted conditions.
