Abstrait

Toute nouvelle technique de rajeunissement du visage vise à obtenir le meilleur résultat esthétique possible pour la plus grande durée possible. Dans le lifting cervico-facial, une évolution s’est faite progressivement vers une extension des décollements des téguments et vers une plus grande complexité des gestes chirurgicaux. À I’opposé de cet « activisme » chirurgical, un nouveau lifting cervico-facial respectant I’unité peau et système musculo-aponévrotique superficiel (I’UCMA cervico-faciale) est proposé. Le décollement n’est pas sous-cutané, mais d’emblée plus profond sous-musculo-aponévrotique et limité à la région parotido-massétérine. Ce nouveau lifting conservateur et fonctionnel tient compte du mécanisme du vieillissement cervicofacial et a pour avantage de replacer I’ensemble des téguments sur les plans profonds. Les résultats esthétiques sont particulièrement significatifs sur I’ovale du visage, les bajoues et sur les cordes platysmales. L’absence de décollement cutané permet de garder au visage son aspect naturel et minimise les complications et les stigmates du lifting classique.
