Abstract

This report describes “Science Days”, a local science festival in the southwest part of Germany. It has been taking place since 2000 and brings in annually more than 20 000 visitors. One of the main target groups are pupils. The festival is planned and then takes place in co-operation with scientists, engineers, teachers and people from other occupational groups. The report also describes the manner in which the organisers improve the quality of the festival
