Part of the book series: NATO Security through Science Series ((NASTC))

Abstract

An explanation of the template effect of the M3+-cations in the course of the sol-gel synthesis of high dispersed titanium and zirconium phosphates is presented. Some ways to vary and to control the porous structure of such phosphates are shown and proposed.
