Abstract

The previous chapter has introduced the simplified dp- and le-procedures. This chapter presents the dp- and le-procedures in their general form. As discussed in the introduction of the previous chapter, the procedures in their general form are able to deal with partially controllable and observable Petri nets, and they accept initial constraints and initial-marking constraints. The setting of partial controllability and observability considered here is that in which controllable (observable) transitions can be individually controlled (observed).
