Abstract
Redistribution of energy in various forms among the constituents of galaxy occurs predominately in the course of the dynamical process of Star Formation. Significant fraction of the energy involved is in the form of kinetic energy associated with systematic or even turbulent motions of HII/molecular cloud complexes. In view of the ongoing debate concerning the dynamical evolution and morphology of HII-regions, we investigated the global kinematics of the giant ionized shell IC1805 centred at (l,b)=(134.7 deg, +0.92 deg) at a distance of ∼ 2.3K pc and surrounding the Ocl352 within Cassiopeia OB6 stellar association. Fabry-Perot interference spectroscopy data ([3] and references therein) in the light of [SIII] 9530.9Å have been used to obtain the radial velocity field of the IC 1795/IC1805 (W 3/W 4) region as a means to probe the large scale gas motions arround Cass Oc1-352. The observations are discussed and interpreted in conjuction with radioastronomical and optical data available. A new empirical model is proposed to account for the complex kinematical structure of the region.
