Abstract
The citron is considered to be native to north east India bordering Myanmar where it is found in valleys at the foot of the Himalaya Mountains, and in the Western Ghats. It has become naturalised in southern China – Guangxi, southwest Guizhou, Hainan, Sichuan, eastern Xizang and Yunnan.
