Abstract

Circulating hemocytes of the solitary protochordates do not survive for prolonged periods in vitro. Subsequently, pharyngeal tissue, which is considered a hemocytopoietic tissue, has been cultured by Raftos et al. (1990). The following procedure is based on their method.
