Zusammenfassung

Die isolierte Laryngitis ist ein seltenes Krankheitsbild, in aller Regel kommt die Infek-tion des Kehlkopfes als Komplikation eines Infektes der oberen Atemwege (Rhinopharyngitis) vor. Diese katarrhalische Erkrankung greift dann auch typischerweise auf die Luftröhre über (katarrhalische Laryngotracheitis). Zu den Ursachen wird auf 5.1 verwiesen.
