In order to achieve the purpose, questionnaires were conducted with 360 young children in area D and J, and the collected data is analyzed with regression analysis and the product-moment correlation of Pearson. Results of the study are follows: first, young children’s decision making ability and self-esteem had significantly positive correlations. Also, decision making ability is an important variant to be able to estimate their self-esteem level. This result suggests that efficient educational approach may need to be introduced to increase young children’s decision making ability for improving self-esteem of young children.
