Abstract

Layer-by-layer concentrations of Fe, Mn, and P compounds in the channel silts of the Krasnovidovo Pool, the Mozhaisk Reservoir, was studied in 1970–1971 and 1974–1975. The mean annual concentration of those elements in a sediment column was found to increase by factors of 1.1, 2, and 1.4 for Fe, Mn, and P, respectively. The factors that caused such changes are discussed.
