Measuring interarm blood pressure differences in diabetes

Interarm differences in systolic blood pressure are associated with a significant risk of morbidity and mortality. A new study reports that these differences are frequently observed in patients with diabetes mellitus and recommends routine measurement of interarm blood pressure differences to improve diagnostic and prognostic stratification of these patients.
