A retrograde angiography of a thrombosed radial–cephalic fistula. The patient was referred for absent flow and inability to dialyze. Physical examination (auscultation and palpation) revealed no flow in the fistula. Notice the presence of a juxta-anastomotic stenosis (a). No thrombus was found and simple percutaneous balloon angioplasty restored flow in the fistula (b). (JPG 126 kb)
