Abstract

ASSESS II, a joint exercise of NASA and ESA, was set up to enable scientists to become accustomed to an atmosphere-free, gravity-free working environment. This simulation of Spacelabs conditions has provided new data and a valuable insight into the possibilities and limitations of such a mission.
