Abstract
Restoration of a hominid skull recovered from Bed I at Olduvai Gorge has revealed it to be a member of the genus Homo. Although the new cranium resembles H. habilis from Bed II, it differs in some respects from the type of H. habilis from Bed I. This may be a case of sexual dimorphism.
