Abstract

POLYPEPTIDES containing glycine and proline have been widely studied as models for collagen. As part of a general study1 on the solution and solid state properties of collagen, we have examined the ultrastructure of a synthetic heteropolypeptide based on the tripeptide Gly-Ala-Pro. We report here electron microscopy findings on poly (Gly-Ala-Pro) (PGAP).
