Abstract

ALTHOUGH members of the enterovirus1–5, reovirus6,7 and adenovirus8–12 groups have been isolated from several domestic animals, there are no records of these isolated from sheep. The failure to recover these viruses is surprising, for these groups are easily isolated from bovines and precipitating antibodies to adenovirus13 and haemag-glutinating inhibitory antibodies to reoviruses14 have been recorded in sheep.
