Abstract
A RECENT communication by Huffman1 reports observations which he interprets as stimulated optical emission from a terbium chelate in a plastic matrix. We have been working in the same field and have previously published similar results on EuD2. In view of our work on this and other rare earth chelates we wish to comment on his interpretation.
