Abstract
Porath and Flodin1 were the first to point out the possi -bility of separating molecules of different dimensions by using ‘Sephadex’ gel filtration, Beling2 used ‘Sephadex’ for the purification of urinary œstrogen conjugates. Other than this there seem to be no references in the literature about its use for purifying conjugated or free steroids.
