Abstract
A method of improving the accuracy of nondestructive electromagnetic emission method of determining the strength of materials is proposed and tested experimentally. A new method of determining the value and sign of the effective surface charge in dielectrics on the basis of parameters of the electromagnetic response on their impact excitation is also proposed.
